Lola Sturgill, MS
Coming to therapy can be scary. Especially in sharing your inner world and digging into things that you have maybe never talked about before. I am thankful that you are considering choosing therapy as your path and process of healing. Therapy is a healing journey, and I want to assure you that you are making a good decision. I welcome every single part of you even the parts that are hidden away, scary, or uncomfortable for you to share. As a therapist, I understand, and I am here to help you along your journey of healing no matter the issues that you are struggling with.
I maintain a judgment-free space, where everyone is welcome. I ask that you bring all of you, your whole genuine self to sessions to freely express your inner emotions and feelings without fears. I hope that I am privileged to help you along your journey and in the end, you have renewed understanding, hope, growth, and self-appreciation.
Along my path in helping others. I have obtained an Associate of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Sex Therapy, currently I am working toward a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have worked in the field of counseling and psychology with multiple experiences working with diverse populations throughout the years in schools, residential facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and behavioral health organizations beginning in 2006.
I am very excited to be a part of Kingsport Counseling Associates and looking forward to working in private practice and helping you navigate along your journey.
